This game focuses on simple verbs without a direct object. There are four main sections. There is a verbs vocabulary practice section and a verbs spelling section. Then, there are verbs games for conversation practice and games for present participle practice. The question and answer games and grammar games are associated with the ESL Young Learners Curriculum - Unit 4.
The questions and answers for this game are as follows.
A: What's he doing?
B: He's cooking.
A: Is he cooking?
B: Yes, he is./No, he's not.
A: Is he cooking
B: No. He's not cooking. He's a eating.
Other notes:
The spelling game will accept the vocabulary word as is, "eat", in the infinitive, "to eat", or the present participle "eating".
In the grammar section there is extended emphasis placed on learning the difference between "he" and "she".
