This game focuses on transportation vocabulary in English with four main sections. There is a transportation vocabulary practice section and a transportation spelling section. Then, there are transportation games for conversation practice and games for listening practice. The question and answer games and grammar games are associated with the ESL Young Learners Curriculum - Unit 1.
The questions and answers for this game are as follows.
A: What's that?
B: It's a bus.
A: Is that a bus?
B: Yes, it is./No, it's not.
The spelling game will accept the vocabulary word as is, "bus" or with an article "a bus".
The games will accept some variations in words, taxi-taxicab, fire truck-fire engine, bus-school bus, etc.
In the grammar section there is strong emphasis placed on learning English punctuation and grammar rules such as starting a sentence with a capital letter, contractions and usage of commas, periods, question marks, as well as short answers with "be".
